What makes Paw Paws special?


Paw Paws USA was created by Anne Nutter, inspired by her beloved dog Peanut. Anne designs the ribbons and works tirelessly to source top quality materials for all products. 

Everything is constructed in our Greenville SC production facility by talented and dedicated seamstresses. Since we are making the products, we have the capability to customize pieces for special requests in size, color, & design!


You can feel great when you order from Paw Paws, knowing your products will be made to meet our
rigorous quality standards by people who truly care! We appreciate your support of our woman-owned
small business, employing people in our local community.

How long will my order take?

Paw Paws makes most pieces when you order them. Usually, you should receive your order within one
week. The average time frame is 1 week for production, plus 2 days for shipping. However, there can
always be times that our production is busy, so please bear with us as you wait for your order! If there
is an unusual delay, we will contact you!

 

What does it mean when my order status is changed to ‘Pending’?


Pending status can be confusing, but there is no need to worry! We have your order – and it is in
process in our production line! We take care to make your items just as you ordered them. You can
anticipate a shipping notification within a couple days!


How will my order be shipped?


We ship most orders via USPS Priority Mail, which takes an average of 2 days depending on your
location. For larger orders UPS Ground may be used.


Can I expedite shipping?


Yes, if you need your order shipped faster please put a note in the Order Comments or Contact Us for shipping options and pricing to your specific location.


How do I get Free Shipping?


Orders of $200 or more will ship for free to US locations. The discount will apply automatically – no need
to enter a Coupon Code. There are just a couple exceptions to free shipping – our Dog Beds and Annual
Membership. (However, if you purchase the Annual Membership you only pay one shipping charge and receive 4 packages throughout the year.)


What if my dog is in between sizes?


If your dog is falling in the middle of the size ranges and you aren’t sure what to order, select the size
you prefer for width (XS is ½”, S is ¾” and M and L are 1”) and put a note in Order Comments indicating
your dog’s measurement. We can up-or- down-size pieces by a few inches to provide the best fit for
your dog!

 

What other custumizations are available?

 

We can make collars or harnesses with a different width if you prefer.  For example, if your dog is a Small size, but you prefer 1/2” width just order a Small and put in comments that you want it made ½” width.  

 

We can also customize a leash to a shorter length if needed.

 

We have the ability to make most any adjustment you may need.  Just Contact Us or put a note in your Order Comments if you have a special request.  In some cases, a charge may apply but we will always discuss with you first.

  

How do I put on the harness?

Lay the harness on the floor and have your dog put its feet in the two ‘holes’.  Pull up the sides and buckle at the top of the dog’s back.  Harnesses are adjustable 3 ways, so once you get it fit snug to your dog just put in on the same way each time!

 

How do I care for my Paw Paws products?

Paw Paws products are machine washable – we recommend cold water washing with a load of towels  and drying for 10 minutes in the dryer, then dry flat.

 

What if I receive my order and it doesn’t fit?

Our products are adjustable and we provide detailed sizing information, but dogs manage to come in every possible shape and size, so sometimes it still doesn’t work out! Contact Us to discuss what might fit better or if customization is necessary.  Exchange Policy will apply.  

 

What is the Return/Exchange policy?

Due to the handmade, custom nature of our products we offer an exchange only policy.  But we want you to be happy with your purchase!  If you need a different size or pattern, Contact Us and we will work with you to find a better option.  If sizing changes, we will charge or refund the difference as applicable.  Return shipping is at the cost of the customer, but we will not charge you additional shipping fees to send the replacement item(s) to you.  

What happens if my dog chewed an item?

It’s a sad occurrence but unfortunately your dog might mistake its Paw Paws product as a chew toy.  Feel free to Contact Us to figure out the extent of the damage – sometimes we can repair an item for a fee, or sometimes it may be a total loss and time to purchase a new one!  We will discuss all of your options.

What if I have a problem with the quality of my item(s)?

We take great care in the selection of high quality materials and during the construction process of all of our products.  Paw Paws USA guarantees our products 100% against defects in construction and will replace your item if this should be the case.  Normal wear and tear is excluded from this.  We offer a repair service if your Paw Paws product becomes damaged - Contact Us to discuss procedure and fees.
